Pre-ordering for popups

If possible, please order your food before the popup service starts (usually 5 pm) using a facebook or Instagram DM [you can order the day before]. Ordering in advance will reduce the chance of a long wait if it is a busy night. If you need to order after the service starts, please CALL 07783 419088, we generally don’t have time to answer DM’s during service. We may not be able to answer your call as we use the phone for sales.

Traditional Neapolitan style wood-fired pizza

Neapolitan pizza is the real original of the pizza scene. Dating back to Naples in the 18th century, Neapolitan pizza was (and still is) affordable and sold en-masse via street vendors. The pizza is soft and pillowy with dark char spots because it’s baked fast in a super hot oven. There’s even a set of strict rules in place – proposed by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana – as to what actually classifies as a Neapolitan pizza.

Most people will tell you that in order to make a “real” Neapolitan style pizza, it has to be baked in a wood-burning oven, for one. But, according to the AVPN pizza police, the following are also mandatory requirements: it has to be made with San Marzano tomatoes or Roma tomatoes (grown on the volcanic plains near Mount Vesuvius) and has to use Mozzarella di Bufala Campana – a specific type of cheese made with milk from the water buffalo raised in the marshlands of Campania and Lazio.

Our Pizza bases are made by us using the finest Italian double-zero flour, water, live yeast and a little salt. The dough is prepared 24 hours in advance and proved overnight before being shaped into pizza-sized dough balls. Contact us if you have any dietary concerns that we can clarify. We can offer Gluten-free Pizza if given prior notice to ensure we have enough available. When ordering gluten-free please let us know the level of your intolerance or allergy so we can ensure we handle your food in a safe way for you. We have non-dairy ‘cheese’ that is suitable for both vegan and lactose-intolerant customers.
